Andrea Taylor
Andrea Taylor is a nurse researcher and clinical nurse consultant based at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Queensland, Australia, with expertise in the care of frail older adults across emergency and perioperative settings. She led the development and early implementation of the Geriatric Emergency Department Intervention (GEDI) model, designed around advanced nursing practice to improve care for older people with complex needs. Her research focuses on frailty, functional recovery, patient-reported outcomes, and the design and implementation of nurse-led models of care.
