In this presentation, Senior Neurologist and Nuclear Physician A/Prof. Rey Casse presents clinical and nuclear medicine perspectives on the role of imaging in the assessment of patients presenting with dementia and some classic cases in SPECT and PET findings in these investigations. Prof. Christian Barras, an experienced academic and diagnostic neuroradiologist in Adelaide and former consultant at Queen Square, London share demographic considerations, imaging protocol advances, imaging interpretation strategies and some further classic cases for consideration. Rey and Chris are experienced and enthusiastic teachers at every level of medical training and have worked together on the most challenging neurology cases in their private MDT held at Calvary Adelaide Hospital since 2018.
